Jackie Chan is always offering a helpimg hand

Jackie Chan helps pay way for a tae kwon do champ

If you’ve paid money to watch the Jackie Chan movie, “Shanghai Noon,” you’ve also helped 17-year-old tae kwon do champion Sarah Stevenson of Great Britain make it to the Olympics.
According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, Chan took an interest in Stevenson after reading of her financial struggles to make her way to Sydney. When he was in London recently to promote “Shanghai Noon,” he asked to meet Stevenson, after which he pledged his financial support.
The martial art tae kwon do makes its debut as an Olympic sport here in Sydney.

All that money and she lost. Well at least we know that if he would have used the money from both Shanghi Noon and Shanghi Knights she would have had a better chance. But atleast she made it to the semi finals.
